PLYMOUTH — On May 29 at 9:20 p.m., Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 2229 N. Michigan St (Days Inn) for a fight in progress.

The caller advised that two men got out of a vehicle and beat another man, and took off. Officers arrived on the scene and found a 43-year-old man who was bleeding from his head and had blood on his arms. A 32-year-old woman had been assaulted as well by the two men and had injuries to her arm, neck, and shoulder.
Officers were advised that the men, later identified as Johnathan Allen, 30 years old of Taylor, Michigan, and Kimani Felder, 29 years old of Detroit, Michigan, had gotten out of the vehicle and assaulted the 43-year-old man when he confronted them about driving fast through the parking lot.
Officers were able to obtain video and get the plate number of the vehicle that was later located by another Plymouth Officer at Murphy’s Gas Station, sitting at the pumps with three people in the vehicle.
Allen and Felder were both arrested and transported to Marshall County Jail and booked in for Battery with Bodily Injury, Disorderly Conduct, and Battery with moderate injury.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
