PLYMOUTH — On May 19 at 7:45 a.m., Plymouth officers were dispatched to the area of Baker St and Michigan about a female reporting that a 10-year-old girl was trying to wave down vehicles, and stating that she needed help.

During a thorough investigation, also involving Plymouth Police detectives and the medical staff, it was determined that a battery had occurred.
Fernanda Reyes was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where she was lodged for the domestic battery and neglect of a dependent.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
