On March 3, at approximately 7:17 p.m. ET, Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call from a woman about a possible battery of a child in the 18000 block of Latonka Trail in Culver.
Marshall County deputies investigated and police say it was found that a child had been hit in the face with a phone charging cord, causing extensive swelling and marks. Marshall County Deputies arrested Kylie Sanchez on a preliminary charge of domestic battery against a family member under 14 years old.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
