Culver Community School Board members approved bus bids during their recent meeting, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman.
“We went out for our bus replacement bids and then awarded that to IC Collins to acquire three new buses,” said Shuman. “The cost for buses is $308,284.”
The corporation purchased two 66-passenger buses and one 15-passenger bus.
The board members also approved bids to move forward with the construction of a new football press box. Shuman said that work should start soon.
“We’re hoping [to start] as soon as track season is over. We will be demolishing the track, along with starting a new install of the track alongside the football press box.”
