On March 9 at 4:29 p.m. ET, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies investigated an accident at US 6 and Miami Trail in Bremen.
Kennedy Cassel, 19, of Bremen, was driving north on Miami Trail and was stopped at the stop sign on US 6. Police say Cassel continued north through the stop sign, pulling into the path of Scott McCoy, 52, driving a semi on US 6.
Cassel was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to a regional hospital. McCoy was uninjured.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Bremen Police Department, Bremen EMS Department, and Bremen Fire Department.
