The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight where the members will discuss an unsafe building waiver request for The Pointe Apartments.
The members will also hear from Police Chief John Weir who plans to open quotes for squad cars and put in a request for a detective vehicle. Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt will have a request for a dump truck purchase. Other department heads will provide updates as necessary.
A discussion on a police uniform credit policy will resume during tonight’s meeting.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The council members will hold additional readings on a salary ordinance amendment, and resume discussions on an agreement with MACOG on an Electric Vehicle charging station hosting site.
Conflict of interest statements will be approved, and Clerk-Treasurer Lynn Gorski will present donations for the Mayor’s Summer of Music and the cancellation of outstanding unpaid warrants.
A resolution declaring certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area for All Points Tool and Manufacturing will be reviewed. A presentation on Dustin’s Place will be provided by Viki Brown.
The council will also get updates on Marshall County HOPE, ONE Marshall County, and the city’s comprehensive plan.
Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
