Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight where they open quotes for ¾ ton pickup trucks for the Utility Department.

The board will also approve a bid for 2025 street repaving projects, and Chief John Weir will have a discussion on the police uniform credit policy.

City Attorney Jeff Houin will discuss a Robers Environmental request to waive financial guarantee. A resolution will be presented pertaining to the write-off of delinquent and uncollectable water, wastewater, garbage and stormsewer bills.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Plymouth City Council will approve conflict of interest statements, and discuss an electric vehicle charging station host site agreement with MACOG.

Clerk-Treasurer Lynn Gorski will present donations for the Mayor’s Summer of Music, and review an ordinance that would amend the 2025 salary ordinance.

Viki Brown will have a presentation about Dustin’s Place, and the council will have updates on ONE Marshall County and the comprehensive plan.

Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
