Two Plymouth residents were arrested on warrants in two separate incidents Friday, January 17.
Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were advised by an off-duty Plymouth officer about a man walking down Michigan Street south from Washington Street who possibly had a warrant.
Officers made contact with the man, who was later identified as 49-year-old Oscar Barrios, of Plymouth. Marshall County Dispatch confirmed that Mr. Barrios had an active warrant out of Marshall County and no bond for failing to appear for public intoxication.
Barrios was transported to Marshall County Jail, booked into the jail and given a court date.
In a separate incident, an officer with the Plymouth Police Department saw 23-year-old Joshua Alvarado, of Plymouth, was westbound on Harrison Street and the officer was aware that Alvarado had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear. Alvarado was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
