On Jan 2, at 12:40 a.m. ET, Plymouth Police Department officers and EMS were dispatched to the Red Rock INN for a medical call.
While on the scene, Plymouth officers witnessed a woman who appeared to be intoxicated force entry into another motel resident’s room, according to the report.
As officers attempted to take the woman, Christine Powers, 50 of Plymouth, into custody, she reportedly attempted to resist their efforts. After being taken into custody without injury, she was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was lodged on preliminary charges of residential entry, resisting law enforcement, and public intoxication.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
