ARGOS — The beginning of the new year brings reorganization for each of the municipal boards in the county. The Argos Town Council started off their first meeting of 2025 last week with election of officers. There were no changes in the Council’s members this year, those members are Charles Randy Snead, Robert Byers, Shawn Harley, Erica Partin, and Ed Barcus.

Average gasoline prices in Indiana have fallen 13.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.97/g, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,271 stations in Indiana. Prices in Indiana are 7.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 7.6 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 3.7 cents in the last week and stands at $3.525 per gallon.
