Illinois Man Arrested for Dealing Cocaine

On Jan. 7,​ at 9:30 p.m. ET,​ a Marshall County K9 ​Deputy conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 30 near Oak Rd in Plymouth for a moving violation.

Police say probable cause was obtained to search the vehicle, and during the search a large amount of suspected narcotics ​were located.

The passenger of the vehicle, Alfredo Arce Rodriguez, 61, of Illinois, was placed into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of dealing in cocaine.

The Marshall County Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
