2024 State Graduation Rate Highest On Record

The Indiana Department of Education has released the 2024 graduation rate information.

The class of 2024 in the State of Indiana represents the highest state graduation rate on record, with data showing 90.23% of Indiana students graduating high school. This is up from 88.98% in 2023.

According to Dr. Katie Jenner, Indiana Secretary of Education, she stated that literacy rates have increased as well as chronic absenteeism rates which assist in achieving this success, and attributes these improvements to the collaboration of educators, families and communities.

Locally, Triton School Corporation had a 98.4% graduation rate, Bremen Public School District had a 96% graduation rate, John Glenn had a 95.6% graduation rate, Argos Community School Corporation had a 94.7% graduation rate, Union-North United had an 88.8% graduation rate, Plymouth Community School Corporation with an 86.6% graduation rate, and Culver Community School Corporation had an 84.6% graduation rate.
