Plymouth Man Arrested on Suspicion of Domestic Battery

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday, December 6 after the Plymouth Police Department was called to a residence in the 100 block of Baker Street for a call of domestic battery just before 6 p.m. ET.

Police say dispatch advised that a man hit two people and had left the residence. While on the way to the call, an officer saw a vehicle matching the description heading west on Baker Street going toward Michigan Street.

The officer conducted a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of the suspect, 22-year-old Addison Waelbroeck, of Plymouth. Waelbroeck was transported to the hospital for a certified blood draw and the results came back certified as .254 BAC, according to the report.

Waelbroeck was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery with a prior conviction, domestic battery against a child under the age of 14, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, communication intimidation, interfering with reporting a crime, driving while suspended with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, operating a vehicle while intoxicated above .15 or more, criminal mischief, possession of marijuana, and operating with a controlled substance.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
