The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight where the board will have a presentation on U.S. 30 ProPEL proposed improvement alternatives.
The board will review a 2025 Animal Control Services Agreement, along with an intergovernmental agreement between the City of Plymouth and Marshall County for planning services.
Department heads will present reports as necessary.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The Plymouth City Council will hold a public hearing concerning additional appropriations with a resolution to be considered for approval later in the meeting.
The council will also discuss the 2025 salary ordinance for additional readings, the 2025 agreement for transportation services, and a donation for the Plymouth Police Department.
The council will also be presented several ordinances on first reading which are typically read by title only. Those ordinances include an amendment to fees regarding city-owned electric vehicle charging stations, an ordinance to allow commercial activity on sidewalks, and an ordinance regarding permit and application fees for the City of Plymouth.
The council will hear from the Veridus Group proposal for a public safety project, and updates will be given on ONE Marshall County, and the city’s comprehensive plan.
Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
