Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where they will hear from the Human Resources Manager about job description updates.

The board members will also look to amend an agreement with AT&T for use of the water tower.

Department heads will provide updates as necessary.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The council members will consider several ordinances on second and third reading including an ordinance to amend fees regarding city-owned electric vehicle charging stations, an ordinance to allow commercial activity on sidewalks, and an ordinance regarding permit and application fees for the City of Plymouth.

The council will review a change in a resolution that would amend vendors in that particular resolution. An ordinance will be considered that would amend the code of ordinances of the City of Plymouth concerning adoption of the personnel policy by reference. The council will take action on a resolution that would authorize the investment of public funds, and a resolution that would provide for the transfer of funds.

Viki Brown will discuss Dustin’s Place and updates will be given on the city’s comprehensive plan and ONE Marshall County.

Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
