A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy conducted a traffic stop Sunday, December 15 that resulted in the arrest of the driver.
The traffic stop was conducted in the area of U.S. 30 and Oak Drive in Plymouth at 10 p.m. ET. Police say the driver, 21-year-old Griffen A. Beliles was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated and in possession of THC products. A child was also in the vehicle, according to the report.
Beliles faces preliminary charges of operating a vehicle with a passenger less than 18 years old, neglect of a dependent, operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
