The Argos Community School Board will meet tonight where they will discuss several items ahead of the new year.
The board will approve the Dragon Legacy Club, the 2025 meeting dates, an Early Literacy grant for reading teachers and aides in grades K-3, and Teacher Appreciation Grants.
A Memorandum of Understanding will be reviewed for Certified teachers, a compensation increase and new contracts will be considered for the principals, as well as a compensation increase for the Classified staff.
The board will look at the superintendent’s days worked beyond his contract from July to December 2024 for approval.
The 2024 year-end transfers and the closing of the budget will be reviewed, along with a transfer resolution for the transfer of funds from the Education Fund to the Operations Fund.
Superintendent Ned Speicher will also present his regular report.
The Argos Community School Board will meet at 7 p.m. ET tonight in the Dragon Center Conference Room on the campus of the school corporation at 600 Yearick Street.
