The Argos Community School Board members took action last week to approve Teacher Appreciation Grants.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said the teachers who were rated effective received $519.13 and teachers rated highly effective received $648.91.
Speicher also noted that the corporation received an Early Literacy Grant.
“We received the Early Literacy Grant from the State of Indiana for $4,756.45,” said Speicher. “That Literacy Grant gets divided up to all of our early reading teachers K-3 as a stipend.”
