The Argos Community School Board members approved the creation of the Dragon Legacy Club during their meeting this week, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.
“It’s going to support our Athletic Department and it’s our athletic director, principal, and a retired coach and principal,” said Speicher. “It’s getting a group of people to support our kids in athletics with uniforms and equipment for our different sports. That club will start after the first of the year.”
Speicher also noted that the board will be opening bids in January for new fencing at the soccer stadium and repairs to the bleachers, as well as new fencing for the boys baseball diamond.
