Plymouth Woman Arrested for Driving while Suspended

A Plymouth woman was arrested Wednesday, October 23 after a traffic stop by an officer with the Plymouth Police Department.

At 1:20 a.m. ET, Plymouth officers received a FLOCK License Plate Reader hit. Police say the hit notified law enforcement that the sole registered owner of the vehicle had an Indiana license with the status of suspended with a prior conviction. The vehicle was located on Lincoln Highway and a traffic stop was conducted at the Serenity Place apartments.

The vehicle was occupied by 42-year-old Tabitha Uylaki-Back, of Plymouth, and during an investigation her license status was confirmed as suspended.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
