Plymouth Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Plan Commission members will meet tonight where they will discuss a subdivision replat of lots proposed by Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County. They will also discuss a certified proposal to amend the zoning ordinance for the City of Plymouth.

The Plymouth Plan Commission will meet at 7 p.m. ET tonight, followed by the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals members will consider three variance of development standards requests for approval. Junior and Dania Hernandez are asking for a zero foot front setback for a porch which was built without a permit, Robert and Lynn Kadlec are asking for a five foot west side yard setback to build a garage, and the Otis R. Bowen Center for Human Services is looking to add an additional wall sign.

Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth. Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
