A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday, October 12 just before 2:30 a.m. ET after a traffic stop in the area of North Michigan Street near U.S. 30.
Police say the cause of the traffic stop was speeding. During the traffic stop, the officer discovered that the driver, 44-year-old Angel Pagoada-Pavon, of Plymouth, was intoxicated and further investigation showed that Pavon was almost twice the legal limit, according to the report. Police say suspected narcotics were also located in the vehicle.
He was transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
