A traffic stop initiated by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy on a gray 2006 Chevrolet SUV in the area of Michigan Road and U.S. 31 resulted in the arrest of the driver on a warrant Thursday, October 10 just after 7 p.m. ET.
The driver of the vehicle, Askia M. Shareef, was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Johnson County Indiana. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail with a hold for Johnson County.
The Argos Police Department assisted in the traffic stop.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
