The Marshall County Council will meet today where they will adopt the 2025 budget for the county and for the Marshall County Solid Waste District. The salary ordinance and job classification and compensation maintenance plan procedures will also be reviewed for approval.
Laureen White from HeplerBroom, LLC will discuss the decommissioning and economic development agreements with the council, while Plan Director Ty Adley will present a professional services request.
A public hearing concerning a tax abatement for B&G Truck Conversions will be held and Museum Executive Director Sandy Garrison and Marshall County Historical Society President Mike Miley will present the quarterly update.
Denise Campbell from the Marshall County Highway Department will have a grant request for the council to consider for approval.
The council will also look at an ordinance that would establish a new county fund, make an appointment to the Culver-Union Township Library Board, and approve the 2025 meeting schedule.
The Marshall County Council will meet at 9:30 a.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
