A traffic stop conducted Friday, October 11 at 3:45 p.m. ET resulted in the arrest of the driver for drug possession.
The traffic stop was conducted as the result of a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K9 Deputy observing a vehicle swerving all over the roadway in the area of State Road 17 and Glen Overmyer Drive, according to the report.
The driver, identified as 60-year-old Kenneth Jordan, has suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Police Department and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
