An Argos man was arrested Tuesday, October 8 when a search warrant was executed at a home in the 200 block of S. Michigan Street in Argos.
Officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force coordinated an operation with the assistance of the La Porte City Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Argos Police Department. A search warrant was executed and police say dozens of stolen items taken from La Porte County were recovered. Officers also located suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia in the home, according to the report.
As a result, 44-year-old Charles Gross of Argos was arrested and taken to the La Porte County Jail on a Level 5 Felony charge of theft. Officers with the Marshall County Drug Task Force will be submitting a report to the Marshall County Prosecutors Office for further charges.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
