The Argos Community School Board members will meet tonight where they will open a public hearing to discuss the Capital Projects Plan and the Bus Replacement Plan.
That public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. ET in the Dragon Center Conference Room, followed by the regular meeting of the school board in the same location.
During the regular meeting, the board will consider the approval of the 2025-2026 school calendar, the school district 2025 budget as advertised, and a Memorandum of Understanding for the schools to increase payment for health insurance premiums for employees enrolled in the MASE health insurance program, effective January 2025.
The board members will have the approval of the 2025 Capital Projects Plan and the Bus Replacement Plan, a reimbursement to Argos schools for construction costs from projects, and a December 2024 stipend for full-time employees rated effective and highly effective.
The board will consider the purchase of a carpet extractor from construction funds, the approval of roofing work before winter, and an agreement for contracted technology for networks, servers and systems. The approval of obsolete equipment and the approval of donations will also be considered.
