While officers were at the residence two other subjects were located in a vehicle outside of the residence. The two subjects were identified as Gilberto Aguilar, 32, of Middlebury, and Shayna Ortiz, 28, of Goshen, who were found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia, according to the report.

All three subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Cesar Rangel was booked for the outstanding felony warrant. Gilberto Aguilar was booked on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, false informing, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia. Shayna Ortiz was booked on preliminary charges of possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe and maintaining a common nuisance.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
