The Union-North United School Board will meet tonight where the board is anticipated to acknowledge the receipt of Superintendent Dr. Angela Piazza’s resignation letter dated August 18, 2024 effective December 31, 2024.
The board will open a public hearing on the collective bargaining process. Public testimony will be taken concerning the support of teacher salaries and benefits. After that hearing concludes, another public hearing will be opened for a preliminary determination project.
Following the public hearings, reports will be given on athletics and safety, and the board will review the ESC Food Co-op agreement for 2024-2025, review a request to accept a quote for weight room equipment, and approve a communication security system.
Dr. Piazza will also provide an update to the board.
The Union-North United School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET in the LaVille Elementary Media Center at 69969 U.S. 31 South in Lakeville.
