Two people were arrested Wednesday, September 18 after a Plymouth Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on North Michigan Street.
The officer on patrol spotted Steven J. Myers driving northbound and he was known to the officer as having an active arrest warrant, according to the report. Myers was apprehended for the warrant.
Also inside the vehicle was Heather L. Manns who police say was suspected of throwing a bag of methamphetamine out of the passenger side window during the stop.
Manns was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
