A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 800 block of Lincolnway East in Plymouth Wednesday, September 11 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 42-year-old Johnny Frame III. During the traffic stop, Marshall County K-9 Officer Diesel conducted an open-air sniff around the vehicle. Upon doing so, police say Diesel alerted to the presence of narcotic odors that he is trained to detect emitting from the vehicle.
Suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were subsequently located, according to the report. Frame III was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
