The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission received an update on the Water Street Townhomes project.
City Attorney Jeff Houin said he met with Developer Kevin Berger and the South Bend-Elkhart Regional Partnership about READI paperwork and the progress on upcoming construction. Houin said there have been delays with the project but supplies are being received so construction at the site should be starting soon.
The project will be located at the corner of Garro Street and Water Street. The plan is to construct 12 two-bedroom townhomes, 2 one-bedroom flats, and some commercial space. It will be all rental property. There will be one parcel for the development and a second parcel for the parking lot.
