Plymouth Man Arrested for Driving under the Influence

A Plymouth man was arrested Sunday, September 29 after a Plymouth Police Department officer initiated a traffic stop on Michigan Street near Klinger Street for multiple moving violations.

During the traffic stop, the driver, 25-year-old Maximilliano Perez-Barrios, was suspected of operating the vehicle while intoxicated. A search warrant was obtained and Perez-Barrios’ blood alcohol level was determined to be twice the legal limit, according to the report.

He was transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangering, operating while intoxicated over .08, and operator never licensed.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
