A Plymouth Police Department officer observed an SUV turn onto East Washington St. from Michigan St., while the traffic light was red and a traffic stop was conducted Wednesday, August 21 at 7:30 a.m. ET.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 25-year-old Evelin Dinora Zelaya Aguilar from Plymouth.
After questioning her, police say it was determined that she did not possess a valid operator license and had never previously been licensed.
Zelaya Aguilar was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
