One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in the area of State Road 106 and Miami Trail in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, 61-year-old Julia Richards was driving a 2023 GMC Terrain and was stopped facing eastbound on State Road 106 at the intersection with Miami Trail. Police say she initiated a turn onto Miami Trail, but did not see an oncoming 2005 GMC pickup driven by 63-year-old Kieth Kras. Kras could not stop and collided with Richards’ vehicle.
Richards was transported to an area hospital with a complaint of pain.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Bremen Police Department.
