The Indiana Historical Society Awards Committee has selected the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum to receive the Indiana History Outstanding Event or Project Award.
The award is for the re-imagined Historic Crossroads Center exhibit that debuted in July of 2023. The exhibit tells the story of how the evolution of transportation changed the trajectory of Marshall County History. A timeline of graphics and artifacts shows the history from the Potawatomi origin story to the construction of trans-continental highways in the early 1900s.
The award will be presented this fall at the Museum.
The Historic Crossroads Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. The Museum is located at 123 N. Michigan St. in Plymouth. For more information, call 574-936-2306.
