A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Deputy was requested to respond to a residence in the 5000 block of 9B Road about a domestic disturbance Wednesday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
It was found that 51-year-old Norma Edington had allegedly battered a household member. Edington was transported to the hospital for jail clearance. Upon obtaining jail clearance, she was taken to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked on a preliminary charge of domestic battery.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
