Report of Residential Entry Results in Arrest

A suspect was arrested June 28 at 3:10 a.m. ET after the Plymouth Police Department investigated a report of a man entering a home on Hillcrest Avenue.

Police say it was discovered that 32-year-old James Carlisle IV had caused a disturbance at the front door of the residence until the homeowner answered. Once the door was open, Carlisle IV allegedly pushed his way inside the home where he was held by the homeowners until officers arrived.

Carlisle was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on a preliminary charge of residential entry.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
