The Plymouth Police Department responded to a report of an alleged verbal domestic dispute at a residence on South Michigan Street.
Police say 35-year-old Misty Masterson, of Plymouth, was there to pick up a woman and her children when Masterson exited her vehicle and began battering a man at the residence in the presence of police.
Masterson was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of battery.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
