A Plymouth woman was arrested following an accident July 4 just before midnight ET in the area of Fifth Street and Adams Street.
Upon arrival of Plymouth Police Department officers, the driver of the vehicle, 50-year-old Tami Martinez, was reportedly found to be intoxicated. During the officer’s investigation, it was determined that Martinez had a blood alcohol level over four times the legal limit, according to the report.
Martinez was transported to the hospital for jail clearance before being transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated over .15.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
