Plymouth Man Arrested on Warrant, Resisting Law Enforcement

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday, July 12 after Plymouth Police Department officers were called to Casey’s for a man with open containers of alcohol in a vehicle with children in the back seat.

An officer arrived at the scene to speak with 31-year-old Miguel Angel Hernandez and when a second officer arrived at the scene and got out of his squad car Hernandez reportedly fled the scene on foot running southbound across Jefferson Street toward the Lincoln Junior High School.

Hernandez was located between houses on Kingston Road and taken into custody without further incident.

Hernandez was booked into the Marshall County Jail for an active warrant, and preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement and driving while suspended with a prior conviction.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
