A Noblesville man was arrested Wednesday, July 17 around 9:30 p.m. ET after a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K9 deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 30 and U.S. 31.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, 45-year-old Jose Roberto Gonzalez-Esparza, was found to be operating the vehicle without ever obtaining a license with a prior conviction and with an Indiana ID with a status of suspended with a prior conviction.
Gonzalez-Esparza was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license with a prior conviction and driving while suspended with a prior conviction.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
