Marshall County Rural Pitch Competition Applications due August 15

Applications are due August 15 for the Marshall County Rural Pitch Competition.

The Marshall County Economic Development Corporation is working with Notre Dame’s IDEA Center and Startup South Bend – Elkhart in this competition aimed at Marshall County entrepreneurs. The “Shark Tank” type event will be an opportunity for entrepreneurs to present their business idea or start up to win a cash prize.

Ten finalists will be selected to pitch their business or idea in three minutes to a live audience and local judges. The first place prize is $2,500, the second place prize is $1,500 and the third place prize is $500.

The event will be held Thursday, September 26, at 7 p.m. ET at The REES Theater in downtown Plymouth.
