4-H participants are working hard to get their projects in to be judged at the Marshall County Fair which begins Saturday, July 13.
The facility opens to the public Saturday at noon ET while the MowCart hot laps and races are from noon to 5 p.m. ET, the Opening Ceremonies are scheduled for 4 p.m. ET, with the Poss-ABILITIES Showcase to follow, and the Donkeyball races from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET at the Horse Arena. There are board games, cards and music at the Gallery on West from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
Sunday’s activities include the antique tractor display all day, a worship service in the Open Class Building at 8 a.m., the MowCart hot laps and races from noon to 5 p.m., the ice cream crank-off from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. sponsored by the Marshall County Dairy Association, the Farmer’s Market at Gallery on West from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., a cornhole tournament at 2 p.m., a military tribute from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.at the Open Class building, tie dying at 5 p.m., the antique tractor parade at 6 p.m., canvas painting at 6 p.m., a line dance lesson at 7 p.m., and Jimmy’s Classics from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
There will be plenty of 4-H judging events going on throughout the weekend. Stop by and witness what the participants have been working on for the year.
MAX 98.3 FM will be live at the fair from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET Sunday through Thursday.
