A Plymouth resident was arrested Saturday, June 22 just before 6:30 a.m. ET after a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy was called to check on a suspicious vehicle and people parked on Oak Road north of U.S. 6.
Police say the passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Chasity M. Smith, of Plymouth, was in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Smith was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
