The Plymouth Community School Corporation has applied and qualified for the Community Eligibility Provision in partnership with the USDA and Indiana Department of Education which enables the corporation to provide free lunch to all Plymouth students for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Community Eligibility Program allows school districts to offer free meals to all students without requiring families to submit individual applications for meal assistance.
Director of Food Service Amy Kraszyk hopes this will bring relief to some of the corporation’s families. She said the agreement allows the corporation to offer meals at no cost based on the identified student percentage.
The Plymouth Community School Corporation encourages families to take full advantage of this program, which will commence at the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
