The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight where they will open bids for the water improvement project and the 2024 street paving projects.
The board will consider an addendum to the School Resource Officer agreement, and consider a Memorandum of Understanding between Brightspeed and the City of Plymouth.
A street closure request will be presented for a downtown block party.
Department heads will provide reports as necessary.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The council will hold a public hearing on an annexation petition on property adjacent to Bayless Street.
The city council will consider an ordinance on second and third reading that has to do with amending the fee schedule for the Department of Aviation for the City of Plymouth.
The council will review a certified proposal to amend the official zoning map for the City of Plymouth. An ordinance will be held on first reading that would annex approximately eight acres of real estate located immediately adjacent to the corporate boundary of the city. A resolution will also be considered that would provide municipal services to that annexed property.
The council will review an application that would allow a commercial revitalization rebate program grant for Harman Restaurants, Inc.
Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street. Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
