Mark Damore Jr. was not present.

The Marshall County Tourism Commission will hold a meeting today where they will discuss any matters that come before the board.

During the commission’s first meeting, they organized Commission Officers; Brian Teall President, Wyatt Stephan Vice President, Angel Balsley Secretary, and Tracy Houin Treasurer. Other members include Mark Damore Jr who was not present, Matt Hovermale, and Jim Hartung.

The Commission is not to be confused with the Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau. In the past, both entities were represented by the same people. That has changed since the new appointments have been made to the Commission. Moving forward the Commission will have to determine how they want to continue operations.

The Marshall County Tourism Commission will meet at 2 p.m. ET today in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
