Marshall County Republican Party Caucus Scheduled

A Republican Party Caucus is scheduled to fill a vacancy for the November 5 Election for Marshall County Circuit Court Judge.

Judge Curtis Palmer retired May 31 and his seat will be on the ballot for citizens to choose his successor. The governor will make a judicial appointment for the rest of the year, and the new candidate chosen in the election will take office January 1.

Republican Precinct Representatives will meet Saturday, June 22 at 9 a.m. ET at the Marshall County Republican Headquarters building at 117 Water Street in Plymouth to choose a candidate for the position.

Any Republican interested in filling the vacancy should file a Declaration of Candidacy no later than 72 hours in advance of the Caucus with Marshall County Republican Party Chairman Debbie VanDeMark at P.O. Box 102, Plymouth, IN 46563.
