One person was injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday, June 1 at 12:50 a.m. ET in the area of Michigan Road and 3A Road in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, the driver, Stephanie L. Bishop, was traveling south on Michigan Road, north of 3A Road, when she lost control of the 2006 Honda Element she was driving. After losing control, the vehicle ran off off the west side of the roadway and into the grassy ditch area. It then rolled at one point and then came to rest on its passenger side.
Police say Bishop was trapped in the vehicle and required extrication. Once freed, she was transported from the scene to a regional hospital for unknown injuries and possible trauma injuries.
The collision and factors of it are still under investigation, according to the report.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by LaPaz EMS and Fire Department.
